Privacy

Imzi is local-first. In Local mode, image files stay in your browser and are never uploaded to Imzi servers.

Cloud mode

When you explicitly select Cloud mode, images are uploaded to Imzi only to process the requested job. Cloud job files are automatically removed within 60 minutes.

What we collect

Optional product analytics uses aggregate events such as processing mode, image format, batch-size bucket, size bucket and success or failure. It does not use a persistent account or an image-specific identifier.

What we do not collect

Analytics and error reports do not include image binaries, file names, previews, image hashes, EXIF or GPS metadata. IP addresses used for short-term Cloud rate protection are not used as analytics identifiers.

Training

User images are not used for model training or compression dataset creation.
